Many times , I have the cue ball near the top cushion and the only shot is a loser in the baulk area, too wide to play normally, requires extra speed to make the loser. However the object ball travels 24 feet and is back in baulk. If I hit slower or harder I will miss the loser.
How does one play these shots ?
