I am a novice billiard player who has played in the Bristol billiards league for three years. my partner( two player team) and i were lucky enough to win this league two years running and lost last yr by 1 point !! each year it becomes harder as our handicaps get lowered per win and we now find ourselfs almost at the max handicaps and have a much better idea on break building instead of just potting balls as per snoooker like when we first started.. there is a much more interest in bristol recently and more players are trying it out including some younger players getting century plus breaks which is great.. I was wondering about competitive billiards and or county.. is there a county and if so would bristol have a chance to field a team ?? what format does county take if there is 1 ?? could somebody please let me know how to find out about competitions amateur to enter and pro to come and watch.. thanks very much ,STUART Bristol..... my email is rattystu@googlemail.com I would love to hear from any 1 as we dont get to hear much about billiards.. this site is new and great to me as i can learn how it should be done properly at last ..
